In case you missed the news, we won… AGAIN!
What did we win? The Washington City Paper’s “Best Of DC 2016” Reader’s Poll for “Best Arts and Culture Nonprofit!” of course! Again, we were super psyched to receive the honor, and humbled by all the congrats and amens that followed.
It is great to receive recognition for the magical growth we’ve been incubating, but our focus is on serving YOU and your potential – and having lots of fun doing it!
You Bloom. We Bloom.
Thanks for voting us best Arts and Culture Non-Profit in DC!
In partnership with the French Academy, let’s sing, dance, mime, create stories and draw together in French. Each week, together with Julia Battist, experienced dancer and French teacher, we will celebrate a theme for example animals, the nature, the weather etc… and bring our creativity to bloom. For kids 2-6 and parents – For French and English speakers.
Julia Battist is a French ballet/contemporary dancer trained at the National Conservatory of Paris. She has been touring all over Europe with the dance company “ Le Ballet Classique de Paris” and performed classical repertory such as Swan Lake and the Nutcracker. Since Mai 2014m, she has been working with the Nhiane Khosi Dance theatre in New York and Dakshina Dance company in Washington DC. In Febuary 2015, she obtained her artist work visa for 3 years and moved in the city. In addition to her dancer job, Julia is a camp animator and offers French tutoring lessons. She loves sharing her passion and her native language with people and especially with kids. Julia is thrilled to start to work with the “Bloom-artistes”.
