9/26: The Garden Open Mic featuring Abir Ibrahim

Tonight’s Featured Artist: Abir Ibrahim

Abir IbrahimGrowing up in the Middle East and migrating to the US at an early age, Abir Ibrahim uses poetry as a bridge between racial, cultural, religious, and moral gaps. Her writing is a means to raise social awareness and inspire people to be more sensitive to each other’s needs. She grasps inspiration from very obvious sources (current events), as well as from her personal life. She balances a major in psychology and a passion for poetry and photography.
