yes please live music local music washington dcHailing from the Midwest, Southwest, and East Coast, Yes, Please is an up-and-coming indie folk rock band on the local D.C. music scene.

Established in 2008, the band features Maya Abela (violin), Anne Bowles (vocals), and Stephanie D’Souza (vocals and guitar). Yes, Please performs at a variety of venues around the District including charitable events, farmers’ markets, and open mic nights.

Influences include: the Avett Brothers, Ingrid Michaelson, and The Be Good Tanyas, among many other folk and pop artists.

We welcome poetry, music, comedy, story-telling, dancing, juggling, political rants, relationship tirades and other special talents as long as they are within the realm of human respect and dignity. Bloombars is an all all-ages, community-oriented art space, so please keep this in mind when deciding what to perform at BloomBars.
