On the 3rd Friday of every month, we invite all artists under the age of 20 to grace the stage at BloomBars for a youth-focused open mic called The Garden 2.0. We know the young people in this city have madd talent, and this is one way that we showcase and support the seeds. All are welcome to attend. Only young people are welcome to perform.
Poets, rappers, singers, dancers, comedians, actors, story-tellers, noise-makers, and even visual artists are welcome to come and do their thing on stage. BloomBars is an all-ages, alcohol-free, community-oriented art space, so all material must be appropriate for all ages. Please keep this in mind when considering what to perform.
This month, the featured act is Pre Cypher, a fresh, young, dynamic hip-hop/spokenword/soul/funky trio: Ankhore the Expressionist, Moon Tzu, and X-Zen-Trick.
