Me & Mr.Cassidy is thrilled to be playing their first show on the East Coast: a live premiere of their entire new album!
Me & Mr.Cassidy is a Folk/Pop indie duo from Los Angeles California comprised of Hope Leigh of Washington DC ( Bloombars Ambassador, Duke Ellington & American University Alumn) and Scott Cassidy of Billings, MT. The two were introduced in California in the fall of 2010 and immediatly began writing together.
Soon enough the two were performing around every corner in the Hollywood area. Their songs began to take shape of a story and sparked the idea of a concept album. In true folk fashion, the entire 12-track record follows the story of two characters, Annabelle and Theodore, from childhood until they are old and grey. The story is genuine and beautiful and the ups and downs in the music parallel the ups and downs of their lives, using music as a method of story telling.
After a successful online fundraiser on
IndieGoGo, the duo raised more than enough money to produce their album from their family, friends, and supporters. Using these donation, Me & Mr. Cassidy will head to Charlotte, North Carolina to record with Producer Justin Huey of Steel Train, just one day after they premiere the full set at BloomBars.
