11/26 Washington Sound Museum with Christylez & Wytold

Saturday, November 26th at 7 – 10 pm

The Winter months in DC will surely compel anyone to want to stay in out of the cold. As an antidote to these brisk days, Washington Sound Museum at Bloombars offers tea to warm your body and art to warm your heart.

Pittsburgh native, Wytold will be showcasing his rock-orchestral cellist skills during the performance portion of this month’s WSM. Recently awarded with a grant from the DC Commission on the Arts and Humanities and a 2007 runner-up for the VH1 Song of the Year, Wytold has been busy working with local DC artists and looks forward to debuting at WSM on November 26th.

Wytold’s unique sound comes from his use of percussive bowing and melodic finger picking. He also has some ties to recent WSM performer and Hindustani violinist , Nistha Raj, as he collaborated with her and has been learning a bit of her craft.
