City of God: 10 Years Later (Cidade de Deus-10 Anos Depois) (2013, 75 min), by Cavi Borges and Luciano Vidigal – This documentary speaks with some of the cast and crew from the blockbuster film ‘City of God,’ to find out what paths their lives took after the film, and asks the question: “Can a work of art change someone’s life?” The results are decidedly mixed, and finds outcomes that are both uplifting and bitter. (In Portuguese w/English subtitles).

The screening will be followed by audience discussion and Q&A.
