Dear Friends of BloomBars,
Our deadline has come and passed, so we wanted to say: Thank you!
With your help, we raised $14,322 online with our Indiegogo campaign, plus more offline through our in-person fundraisers at Liv and BloomBars.
Thanks to this influx of donations, we will be able to continue supporting art, artists, and our community. We are incredibly grateful for your donations, great and small, and will be keeping you updated on our continuing progress.
We would also like to thank DCist, Sriram Gopal, Deals for Deeds, Simon Landau and WUSA9, Jack Gordon, NBC4 and PJ Orvetti, Free In DC, Prince of Petworth, New Columbia Heights, and WPFW for their support and help spread the word.
That said, our challenge is not finished. We have surpassed this hurdle but we still have a daily need for donations and volunteers. Without these key elements coming together, day after day, month after month, we would not be here today; and may not survive for the long-term.
